The "Daily Sketch" says thousands of delegates from the Theosophical Society's branches in 33 countries, including 71 from Australia and New Zealand, liave assembled at Adyar, India, waiting the coming of tlie new Messiah. Mrs. Annie Besant, president of the Theosoplr-"" 1 Society, declares that the Great Bo who rule the world, including tho King of the World, have revealed to her that a new Prince of Peace is hastening His coming for the purpose of preventing another war. She says He will" inaugurate a religion which will unite all the religions throughout the world. A young Hindu, named ELrishnamurti, whom Mrs. Besant has been training for many years as a prophet, will, she saYs, be the vehicle by means of whom j the Messiah or World_ Teacher will come. Krishnamurti is lending his body to this spiritual entity, as, according to an old Christian tradition, Jesus lent His body to Christ. Seven of the Apostles out of 12 who are to accompany the Messiah on a preaching mission have already been selected. They include Mrs. Besant, the Rev. Oscar Kellerstrem, of the Australian Liberal Catholic Church, Bishops Leadbeater and Wedgwood, of the Liberal Catholic Church; also a Buddhist and a Hindu woman. —("Sun.")
