IN BRITAIN AND CONTINENT. RIVERS FALLING FAST. (Received 12.30 p.m.) UO'S'JOS, Jamiary 11. The Thames floods are subsiding rapidly at all points, and the fields and roads are emerging again from the wastes of waters. Paris reports that the Seine and all its tributaries are falling, while Amsterdam experienced a fine sunny week-end. The floods are gradually subsiding, but even with the absence of further rain, draining and dyke repairing will be a lengthy and costly business.
