On the application of Chief Detective Cummings, accused was remanded to January 18. Further charges were pending, said the Chief. ROBBED OP HIS MONEY. Wilfred Engebretsen (Mr. Singer) was convicted and discharged on a chart, of being found by night on licensed" premises. Accused, who was not a criminal, was taken to the hotel by a boarder, but after consuming some liquor, he' got into the wrong room, and went to sleep there, said Mr. Singer. There had been thieving going on in the hotel, and the young man had been robbed of his money, so he could not be suspected of stealing. DISMISSED. Joseph Diamond (37) was charged with assaulting a lad aged 15 years.
