v£.- 12.30 p.m.) HOBART, this day. The Italian, Filippo Farajoni, has ieen acquitted on the charge 'of murdering Quin. —(A. and N.Z. Cable.) ; On October 17 William Quin, John ! Davis, and other men visited an Italian's home at Linda, and broke the windows. ; Quin was fatally stabbed, and Davis , eeriously wounded. Several of the Tas- * manians were hurt, Farajoni was ' arrested. The row was the outcome of yacial feeling, the Tasmanians objecting to Italians being employed in the North l Lyall mine.
