AUCKLAND A. AND P. SHOW.
PEDIGREE STOCK BREEDERS. EXPRESSIONS OF APPRECIATION. Appreciative references in regard to the arrangements made for pedigree dairy stock at the recent Auckland Spring Sliow have been received by the managing secretary, Mr. A. D. Stanley. There was an abundance of green feed and plenty of clean hay for bedding in the stalls. The accommodation for the stock was also generally remarked upon hy breeders, who expressed the opinion that the improvements made during the last twelve months were all tliat could be desired. A letter from Mr. S. K. Gordon, hon. secretary of the New Zealand Ayrshire Breeders' Association, is typical of the congratulatory messages received by the Auckland A. and P. Association. At the annual meeting of the Ayrshire breeders, held on Saturday last, the following resolution was carried unanimously: this meeting of Ayrshire breeders express their appreciation of the generous treatment received from the Auckland A. and P. Association at the show." 'Similar pleasing comment lias been made by exhibitors in the home industries section. A lady exhibitor, who came j from a distance, has also written to the 1 lfianaging secretary, expressing appreciation of the courtesy and help extended to exhibitors, especially those from a distance, by the ste\vard-in-charge (Mr. Gordon McGowan), and complimented him on the way he carried out hi? duties.
