BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES. PAYS USUAL DIVIDEND. For -the first time in its history ot 108 years the Bank or New South Wales Has presented an annual report. Hitherto the reports have been hair-yearly. The year covered is to September 30, and β-pront or £979,383 is shown, which, is the largest in the history or the bank, and compares with £846,835 in the previous year, £825,- ---■ 081' In 1923, , : and £652,881: in mov This Dank pays dividends quarterly, and three quarterly dividends at the rate ol 10 per cent per annum hare been paid throughout the past year, end with the Hnal quarterly dividend now payable the amount of the dividends totals £60,000; the shareholders also receive a bonus of 10/ per share, equal to 2} per cent, ana absorbing£lso,ooo. The reserve Tuna has been increased by £350,000, and now stands at £4,440,000, and £130,766 is carried forward. The note Circulation stands at £535,020, as compared with £481,000, the increase being - accounted for by an audition or £54*000 to tho note circulation In New Zealand, the deposits totalled £57,070,095, as compared with £52,306,----570 in the previous year. The advances amounted to £42,676,111, against £43,208,----810,-and coin, Government leg-al tender notes, , and cash at bankere £15,376,714. against £13,916,035.
