LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY.
SECOND SEASON CLOSES.
The second season of the Auckland Little Theatre Society came to a happy conclusion last evening. A crowded and appreciative audience saw the performances of the three one-act plays, and after the final curtain, when all the players went hack on the stage, they were greeted with rounds of applause. A profusion of flowers was handed up to the four ladies who Hiipciircd in the productions—Margot Finlayson, Ysblindc McVeagh, Owen Youngs and Peggy Hovey. Calls for tlip producer brought forward Mr. Herlu'it J. Bentley, tin- man primarily r."Don>ililo fur the success that attended tins, and the first, seasons. He made a .'hurt pppocli. thanking all for their enthusiasm, pointing out the ideals of tile Little Theatre movement. and adding that the appreciation of subscribers was the reward of the players. Aftenvnrds, the performers, and all those who assisted, held an informal supper party and a dance.
