Included in this latter list are Mataon (Auckland). Wise (Otaeo). Law (Manawatu), Lawson (South Canterbury). Corkhill (Hawkers Bay). JlcCormick (Canterbury). Arthur (Southland). Walters (Taranaki). DickRon (Otago). and Thomas (Wellington). Finlayson, ol Northland, was selected for the opening trial List year, but did not play as he was unable to make the trip in the event of being seected, but he was seen by the selectors during Northland's tour as far as Taranaki.
