MELBOURNE MYSTERIES.
TWO BOMB OUTRAGES. A FURTHER EXPLOSION. (Received 9.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The mystery surrounding the outrages at East Malvern, when a bomb was exploded on Miss Schatzberg's verandah, is further complicated by a somewhat similar happening at Albert Park, where an explosion occurred on the front verandah of the home of Charles McDonald. Hearing the report McDonald rushed out, and saw three men driving away in a motor car. He asked them if they knew anything about tae explosion, but they did not reply. It is believed the explosion was caused by a marine rocket. Little damage was done. Whether the two outrages are connected, the police have not decided.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
