The schooner Elsie Mary sailed this morning with cargo for Gisborne. The Admiralty oil tanker Nucula 18 to be undocked on Tuesday after cleaning and painting. The Danish steamer Sierra Morena is under charter to load case oil in the Gulf of Mexico for New Zealand and Australian ports. The topsail schooner Pirl, after discharging a quantity of explosives off Motuihi, came into port on Thursday afternoon and berthed at the Central wharf. The Richardson steamer Mako sailed late on Thursday with cargo for East Coast hays. The company's Awahou arrived at Auckland from East Coast early yesterday, and berthed at the King's wharf. AORANGI LEAVES VANCOUVER. The Union Company's motor liner Aorangi left Vancouver at noon on Svednesday for Auckland via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on April 27, and is to resume her voyage to Sydney the following day. MAHENO FOR SYDNEY. On her return trip to Sydney, the Union Company's Inter-colonial steamer Maheno sailed shortly before midnight on Thursday with passengers, mails and cargo. She is due at Sydney on Monday, and will sail later In the week for Wellington. THE PORT AUGUSTA. ' In continuance of her voyage from Philadelphia and Nflw York, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Augusta is to leave port at daybreak to-morrow for Napier. The vessel, which is berthed at the Prince's wharf, will also discharge at Wei- . lington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. ; THE TENNESSEE. From Hamburg and other Continental ports, the Norwegian Australian Line's motor ship Tennessee arrived at Fremantle ' on March 31. Thence she proceeds to Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, where, she is due towards the end of the present month. Hence the vessel proceeds to the South Sea Islands. THE WESTMEATH SOLD. The Union Co.'s Westmeath, at one time well known in New Zealand waters, has been sold. Built at Hartlepool in 1903, the Westmeath is a vessel of 7274 tons gross and 4601 net, and was one of the three steamers sold to the Union Co. by the Hulder Line in 1012. She was formerly known as the Everton Grange. THE WARSHIPS. H.M.s. Veronica, which has been engaged on a two months' cruise to Southern ports, arrived in the Hauraki Gulf last evening. aud came into pert to-day to go to her 1 usual berth at Devonport. D. G. SCOFIELD COMING. The Vacuum Oil Company has received advice that the oil tanker D. G. Scofleld Is expected to arrive at Wellington on April 19 from San Luis Vobispo (California), with a full cargo of fuel oil for the Union Company. MAMARI FOR U.S.A. From Brisbane the Rhnw, Savill and Albion liner Mamarl arrived at Picton on Thursday to commence her loading for U.S.A. and England. Thence she proceeds to Wellington, Napier, Walkokopu, Gisborne, Opua, and Auckland to complete, sailing finally from the latter port on May 2 for New York, Boston, and London. ULIMAROA ON MONDAY. From Sydney, whence she sailed on Thursday, the Huddart Parker passenger steamer Ulimaroa is due at Auckland on Monday afternoon. After inspection in the stream the vessel will berth at the Prince's wharf to land passengers, mails and cargo, and to load for her return trip, on which she sails on Friday next. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. W, Brown, wireless operator of the Kaitoke, and Mr. T. H. McWilliams, of the Arahura. have exchanged positions. Mr. J. Gillandcrs, chief engineer of the Karori, is to join the Kurow in a similar capacity, and the acting-chief, Mr. R. Gardiner, reverts to second, while Mr. M. Campbell comes ashore for instructions. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. For southern ports to complete discharge of her cargo from Halifax, and to load for her return trip, the Canadian Government steamer Cnnndian Conqueror left Auckland on Thursday afternoon. The vessel Is to return to Auckland to complete her cargo, and is to sail finally from this port about April 30 for New York, Boston aud Montreal. NOTICE TO MARINERS. Location, height, and arc of visibility continue unaltered."—Extract from "N.Z. Gazette." NIAGARA FOR AUCKLAND. Her overhaul completed, the Union Company's Royal Mail steamer Niagara sailed from Sydney at 1 p.m. on Thursday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday morning. On arrival she will berth at the Central Wharf to land passengers and mails and to load for forward ports. At 8 p.m. on Tuesday she is to continue her voyage to Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. In conjunction with the motor liner Aorangi, the Niagara will be engaged regularly on the Sydney-Auckland-Vancouver run. CITY OF MADRAS IN PORT. Laden with case oil, motor cars, and general cargo, the Ellerman-Bucknull steamer City of Madras arrived at Auckland this morning from New York and berthed at the eastern side of the Prince's wharf. After loading all her cargo at New York the vessel took her departure on March 6, and reached Panama ten days later. The following day she resumed her voyage to New Zealand, ami experienced an uneventful run to port. Tne vessel, which Is under the agency of the. Federal Line, is to proceed hence to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dimedin, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Portland (Victoria) to complete discharge. The City of Madras is under the command of Captain G. V. Harris, who has associated with him the following officers :— First, Mr. H. Glenn; second, Mr. H. Thomas; third, Mr. J. M. Hatherly; chief engineer, Mr. J. Priestman; second Mr. C. B. Stevenson; third, Mr. W. E. Shone; fourth, Mr. A. Bayne; chief steward, Mr. O. W. Salvage; wireless operators, Messrs. A. T. Healy and T. Alexander. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICES. The Union Company 'announce the following movements of their vessels engaged in the. trans-Pacific cargo services:— The Hauraki is now discharging cargo from Pacific Const at the Queen's wharf. She will afterwards proceed to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. The Waiotapu left Newcastle on April 2 for Fanning Island and Vancouver. The vessel, is due at Fanning Island on April 16, and at Vancouver on April 31. She will load at Vancouver and San Francisco for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Wairuna is due at Vancouver on April 19. The vessel will load at Vancouver and San Francisco for Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Waihemo is due at Vancouver from Newcastle on April 16, aud is to load nt Vancouver and San Francisco for Papeete, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. Following are the latest movements of vessels under the flag of the Union Company:— Waikawa is to sail about Thursday next for Sydney. Wingatui, en route to Auckland from Southern ports, cannot leave Lyttelton before Tuesday next. Waikouaiti was expected to clear Timaru to-day for Sydney and Newcastle. From the coal port she is to return to Sydney to fill up and is to sail finally during the fourth week in April for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Timaru. Ngakuta is due at Auckland to-morrow with a cargo of coal from Greymouth. Rakanoa left Lautoka at 6 a.m. on Thursday for Aucklnnd. Kaiapoi is expected to clear Hobart on Tuesday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. Wanaka was expected to leave Wellington to-day for Auckland. Wainui is to leave Gisborne at 10 o'clock to-night for Auckland where she is due about daybreak on Monday. Kawatirl is expected to leave port on Tuesday for Newcastle. Katoa is announced to sail on Wednesday for Southern ports. Kaimanawa sailed to-day for Westport. Walpori is announced to leave port on Tuesday for Portland, New Plymouth and Lyttelton. Hauraki, discharging cargo from Pacific Coast ports at the Queen's wharf, cannot be dispatched before Friday for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.
