THE FIXAL GALLOPS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHIUSTCHURCH, this day. The weather was fine early this morning for the final gallops at Rierarton, but a southerly gale sprang up after breakfast, accompanied by a sharp shower. The outside of the course proper and also the trial grass and plough tracks wore opon. Haze ran a mile on the plough In 1.44. Nincompoop and Chignon (separately) ran three furlongs nt an easy pace. Rich Prize and Top Score did six furlongs on the plough in 1.17. Barn Owl run five furlongs on the plough in 1.4. Gay Juliet ran six furlonga on the plough in 1.1 o 3-5, and Vesperus and Gamebag five furlongs on. the plough In 1.3 4-5. Ked Wink ran a mile in 1.47, after a slow start, two mates joining In for the last part. Fool's Taradise and Grand Knight ran six furlongs in 1.15 1-5. Los Ambus beat Songbird and Coch-y-Bondhu over six furlongs on the course in 1.10 2-0. Cornstalk beat Grim Joke over half a mile on the grass. Ronaki and Gold Brick ran six furlongs on the plough in 1.17 1-5. Black Cat and Nadarino sprinted down the straight for half a mile on the course. Starmlst ran seven furlongs on the plough in 1.31, and Sparkllght five in 1.4. Lucinette did three steady rounds. John Bradbury easily beat Gay Bird over a half-mile an the trial grass in 40 3-ss. Ayrburn beat Sartist over seven, furlongs on the trial grass in 1.29. Olyrupia and Sol way ran five furlongs on the plough in 1.5 2-5. Adjutor ran six furlongs on the plough In I.SO. Eoyai Star and Mountain Lion (separately) went twice round at a useful pace. Peneus did a steady round, sprinting down the straight. . Kilris, brought home by Vonti, ran seven furlongs on the plough in 1.31 1-5. Pilllewlnkle ran a mile and a-quarter on the course In 2.10 4-5, and Siaosl and Civility six furlongs on the course in 1.17 3-5, finishing easily. Sunny Loch, with Lava over the last part, ran six furlongs on the plough in 1.10 4-5. Dormez sprinted three furlongs smartly. Joyeuse ran half a mile on the course in 49 4-sa. Enare and Incursto ran seven furlongs on the plough in 1.35. Kllbirnie and Rawene ran half a mile on the plough in 525. Raconteur did easy exercise. Puwhero did one round nt half pnee. The latest arrivals include Peneus Puwhero, Solway, Olympin, Adjutor, Raconteur, Singbird, Los Ambus, Gold Birch • (_'och-y-Bondbu and Ronaki.
