Mr. J. 11. C. Bond. Dominion superintendent of the Xew Zealand Shipping Company, will leave Wellington by the Remuera on Monday for a trip abroad. Mr. C. M. Turrell, Wellington manager of the Xew Zealand Shipping Company, will act as superintendent during Mr. Bond's absence. Congratulations to Mr. H. H. Order upon his elevation to the Supreme Court Bench of Xew Zealand were expressed in the annual report of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society. Mr. Ostler did good work while president of the society, and the report expressed regret that the society would lose his services. The Rev. George Budd. superintendent of Home Missions for the Presbyterian Church of Xew Zealand, who recently returned to Auckland after an extensive visit to the Taranaki district, has left again on a tour of inspection to the-out stations on the Wairarapa, and nert week expects to be in the Xelsoa Province.
