REPUBLICAN ARRESTED.
FREE STATE ACTION. LONDON, April 10. By the orders of the Irish Free State Government, the arrest has been effected of the Irish General, Bofin, who was at one time in the British Army, but who served under De Wet in the Boer war. Bofin had evaded capture since 1923, when he proclaimed a miniature republic at Roscommon, in the mountains. Ho was married during a siege of bis stronghold, and spent his honeymoon in a cave. He then escaped through the cordon of the opposing forces with his bride.— j ("Sun.") I
