OBITUARY.
LINK WITH THE PAST. By the deaths of Messrs. Robert Hill, of Khyber Pass, and Thomas Farquahar, of Franklin Koad, Ponsonby, a strong link with the past was severed in the btisiness connection of the Campbell, Ehrenfried Company. The former had been in the employment of the Campbell and Ehrenfried Company for 40 years, and the latter for 35 years. Of later years, however, declining health, and th» steady advance of old age had placed them on the superannuation list, a position they had well earned by strict integrity and faithful and honest service. By a peculiar coincidence they both died on the same day, last Sunday, and were both buried on the same day. As they were both very much attached to each other it emphasised the coinci-. f'.ence still further. »ii-i J !
