''Oood-oh—yes. lets. ehnrussed the others, and they rushed through the gates. There was a big char-a-banc outside the very door, much to their delight, and they all clambered in. Ellie the Klephant had a bit of trouble getting iv. but they all managed to lit iv somehow and drove oil". Bobby drove. He went at a terrific pace, and when they got to town a tyre came off. However, Sally Snake tied herself round it nnd on to the axle, and all was well. She said she was quite comfortable there, but certainly didn't look it. Everybody sang, and tbe gay little party became very noisy, but nearly everybody iv town was in bed, so nobody interfered. Then they thought they'd better turn back. Harold the Horse had gone into a sweet shop on the way and brought nut several bottles of lemonade. Pcrcival the Tig got in, too, and ate many, many sweets. They arrived home and went back to their various cages and shut themselves up again. "Thank you for letting us out," ihey all said to Bobby as they went. "We've had a lovely time." "We'll have another soon," he answered. "Quick! We'd better hurry back; it's nearly light." Next day all the people who saw the animals at the Zoo wondered why they were all so cheerful nnd happy!
