The Frankxon portion of the Catholic parish of Hamilton ia to be formed into a separate parish, with its own priest. Father OFiynn, now of Te Huiti, haa been apocmted to the position, and will take up his duties on September 21. Father Hunt, at present at Httntiy, succeeds Father O'Fiynn at Te js-uiti, and Father (hiriey, curate at Hamilton, wili go to Euntiy. The site of the . raniton church will be on Church property in Ride Range Road, and it is intended to erect a- building to seat 500 peopie, a •sum of money being in hand for the work. The Frankton people have worked hard for some time, with socials, etc., m raising money for this end. A Catholic school will be instituted at Frankton before work on the church is commenced.
