LECTURER'S SUICIDE.
A TAXI CAB TRAGEDY. LONDON. September 12. At the inquest regarding the death of j Mr. H. G. Evelyn White, a lecturer at i the Leeds University, a verdict a_ | suicide while oi unsound mind was j returned. A brother of the deceased stated that a week ago White was very upset, and told i .him that Miss Nind had been pursuing him. He had told her that he had no affection for her, and Miss Nind had threatened to commit suicide. — (Reuter.'i ! _ I White committed suicide in a taxi I I cab at Leeds.
