The newspapers give prominence to Mr. Bamsay Mac Donald's acquisition last March of 30,000 £1 shares in the i-cuit firm of McVitie-Price. The controlling partner of the firm, Mr. Alexander Grant, who is a lifelong friend and admirer of the Premier, received a baronetcy in June.— (A and N.Z. Cable.)
