FLOODS OF "CLtTES." POLICE STILL HOPEFUL. (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The announcement by the police authorities that a sum of £500 will be awarded to any person giving information that will lead to the conviction of the man who killed the little girl Tuckorman has caused the police offices to he inundated with alleged clues. Investigations following these alleged clues have .been fruitless. 'Die authorities, however, declare that they arc in possession of facts that will shortly lead to an arrest. — (A. and N.Z.
