STATION HANDS' WAGES.

INCREASED IN QUEENSLAND. BRISBANE, July 21. At the hearing of the sheep industry case, before the Arbitration Court, the Chief Justice (Hon. T. W. McCawley) made it clear that wages must fluctuate according to the prosperity or otherwise of the industry. —The Court raised the wages of adult employees on sheep stations by 10/ a week and others in proportion. Shearers •will receive 5/ per 100 extra. The Court refused increases in cattle industry wages.— (A. and N.Z.)
