MANGAWARE RIVER BOARD.
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. (By Telejranh.—Own Correspondent.* this day. Nominations for fowr extraordinary vacancies on the Mangawarc River Board, caused by the unseating of Messrs. Pilkington, Law, .Catley and Herbert by Mr. H. A. \oung, S.M., in the recent Court action, closed, to-day. Mr. E. C. Pilkingtcn was re-elected unopposed for Tauhei; there- beinj five candidates nominated for three seats in the lower subdivision, viz., Messrs. R. H. McCallum. D. J. MeGowan. F. Herbert, F.. R. Catley and J. Law. The election takc3 place on the 30th inst.
