TASMANIAN GOVERNORSHIP.
CAPTAIN O'GRADY'S DESIRE. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 20. Captain James O'Grady, in an interview, said that nothing had been settled regarding hie rcmoured appointment to the Governorship of Tasmania, but an announcement was to ibe expected this week. He expressed a personal preference for an Ambassadorship in Russia, where he felt he could render greater service.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
