MOTOR COLLISION.
WHEELS TORN T OFF CAR. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday. While . proceeding along the Raglan Road deviation yesterday afternoon, a car driven by Mr. Trevor White, of Auckland, collided with a motor lorry when rounding a sharp bend. The car was proceeding from Raglan to Te Awamutu, and was climbing tbe hill near the bend when a heavy motor lorry was seen bearing down on it. Although both drivers made' every endeavour to avoid a collision, the car had two wheels torn off and the force of the impact was sufficient to throw two of the occupants of the ear on to the, road. Fortunately no injuries of a serious nature were sustained. The passengers were Mr. arid Mrs. Trevor White, of Auckland, and Mrs. and Miss R. W. Ni Lord, of Te Awamutu.
