WELLINGTON CENTRE MATCHES. CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. (By Telegraph.—Pre=s Association.)» HAWERA, Sunday. The Wellington Centre's boxing championship was concluded evening. There was a large attendance and tlie fixture was well managed and is considered to have been a success. Must of the bouts were closely contested. The results were as follows:— Flyweight.—Hoskings (Wanganui) defeated Willis (Hawera), on points. In the final Hoskings defeated Woods (Wellington), on points. Bantamweight.—nay ward (Hawera) defeated Nesbit (Wangnnui), on points. In the final Hay ward defeated Crowley (Wellington), on points. Featherweight.—Final : l>,l nc k (Wellington) defeated Vercoe (Marlborou"li) on points. Lightweight.—Final: Lovoridge (Taranakl) defeated Charles (Wellington), on points. Welterweight.—Final : Walden (Manawntu) defeated Duggan (Hawera), on points. Middleweight.—Broenan (Hawera) defeated Johaiisou (Maeterton), on points. Light-Hpnvywcighl.—Finnl : Tlnnr (Mnnawatu) defeated Evatt (Wellington), on points. Heavyweight.—Final: Mcßae (Wellington) defeated McGuire (Taranaki), on points.
