MELBOI7UXE. July ID. The Victoria .Amateur Turf Club's July M.-eting was held at Cmiltield to-day. The following was the result of the leading event: — THE MURItUMBKENA HANDICAP of CoOsovs. One mile three furlongs. Tookarby, l> g, iiyrs (Mr. M Dennis) 1 Tressayr. -Jyrs '- Imputation, Oyre J Tookarby won by a length and a-lialf, a length separating second and ihlrd. TLtio, The finish of the race was marked by a sensational occurrence. A short distance from the winning post three horses fell, Spearsum and Corunnn being fatally ivJured.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
