ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY.
The monthly entertainment of tne' St. Andrew's Society was held on Saturday, before v full audience in tbe concert chamber. It'was in the nature of a Scotcli concert, and the programme wns thoroughly enjoyable and highly appreciated by the audience, every item being encored. The following rendered solos :—Miss Phyllis Gribbin, Mrs. Ernest Richards, Messrs. Duncan Black and Herbert Richards. Miss Ophir McDougall contributed to the programme by dancing "xeau triubhais" and Highland Fling, and Mr. Alan MeElwain gave several humorous items. It is proposed to form a St. Andrew's Choir,, ami a meeting is called for Tuesday evening next at 8 o'clock in Grufton Hall. Mr. Alex. Kemp, formerly organist and choirmaster of St. Andrew's Cathedral Mission Church, Edinburgh, has been appointed conductor.
