DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED.
PERTH, July 1& The Cabinet has commuted the death sentence passed on George William Auburn to imprisonment for the term !of his natural life. Auburn was sentenced to death on I July 6 for the murder of John George j O'Neill on April 7. O'Neill's body was I found in the Swan River.—(A. and N.Z.)
