TOKYO. July 18. Captain McLaren, leader of the British airmen engaged in a flight round the world, who was overdue or his flight from Toshima to Paramushir, in the Kurile Islands, has been found.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
SUSTAINED FLIGHT.
FRENCH WORLD RECORD. PARIS, July 18. The aviators Coupet and Drouhin, flying a Farman Goliath machine, established a world's record for duration of flight. They remained in the air for 38 hours, and averaged a speed of 64 miles an hour.
