GREAT CONGRESS CLOSES. ENTHUSIASTIC SCENES. THE DOVE OF PEACE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July IS. The International Advertising Convention has concluded. A telegram was sent to Mr. Mackenzie King, Prime Minister of Canada, and Mr. Coolidge, President of the United States of America, expressing an earnest desire to co-operate towards the economic restoration of the world. There were enthusiastic scenes at the farewell session. Delegates ranged under banners representing 42 countries and States, and, led by the orchestra, joined in singing the national tunes of different countries. The meeting finally passed a resolution urging a' conference of leaders of nations with a view to preventing- wars. (Keuter.)
