A NEW WATER SPORT.
The above illustration might be called a perfect pinwheel, though that may not be what the eight fair mermaids had in mind. England has a new swimming fad, aquatic statuary they call it. Women swimmers at the popular beaches are training in groups to put on intricate tableaux that would be
impossible on tlie stage except (or expert acrobats. It's not nearly at easy as it looks, this business of motionless floating. We will no doubt find aquatic enthusiasts trying this and the other stunts at the beach next summer. It should be good sport, if one i doesn't inhale too much of the sea in the effort.
