J. Tomkinson has a strong team engaged, and all are doing well, especially Snowshoe, which has done some attractive work lately. To-day he ran a mile and a-nair in 3.25, easing up. Escort is being: worked in the saddle, and is engaged in mile saddle races each day at Addington. Man-o'-War is doing well, and Is freely engaged at the Metropolitan Meeting, and his owner (Mr. G. McMillan) will probably be at Addington to see him race next month. Fleming's pair, Don Wild and Locanda Mac, are fast getting into racing condition, and are certain to race prominently at Addington. Taurekareka, winner of all the classics this season, is doing well, and, along with Great Hope, Alto Chimes. Pakoti. Wlietu. Kohara, Sunny Jim, Taraire, Bundaberg. The Toff, and Rex Coronado, will represent Oakhampton Lodge at Addington next month. B. Edwards has returned from Auckland, where AH Bell and Blair Audubon are in steady work. Early this week the straight out trotter Whispering Willie gave an attractive display over two miles.
