FOR MARINE BOROUGHS. AN AGREEMENT REACHES. SUPPLIES FROM KAIPARA. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Following upon the refusal by the ! Minister of Public Works to consent to North Shore boroughs joining with the Auckland Electric Power Board for the supply of electricity, and to their form- j ing a Waitemata Power Board, an agree-! ment was reached to-day under which the whole of the North Shore boroughs will come under the Kaipara Power Board area. j On that condition, the Hon. J. G. i Coatee has promised a supply of current. The quantity and terms are not j disclosed, but will be agreed upon be- i tween the parties. I The deputation from the boroughs was ' anxious as to the question of fair repre- j sentation on the Kaipara Board, but I was reassured on this point by tho Minister.
