IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE.
GOOD GOODS ESSENTIAL LONDON, July 17. Mr. Owen Jones, of Melbourne, submitted a paper to the Advertising Con-' vention on Australia and New Zealand as markets for export trade. He pointed out that Britain should learn from other nations the art of meeting the require- I merits of overseas buyers, notably for motor cars, in which the American typo | was better adapted to Australian and New Zealand conditions. Mr. Jones emphasised the wisdom of direct comr mercial representation, and also gave useful hints how to gain the best results from advertising in the two Dominions. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
