ACCLIMATISATION REWARDS.
The Auckland Acclimatisation Societyhas given rewards of £20 to Constables Thomson and Inncss, Constable Heeps, and Messrs Hughes, Clark, Jackson and Marks, following upon the conviction of eight persons for various breaches of the game preservation laws, including shooting game out of season, fishing with illegal bait, trespassing 'on a sanctuary, and trespass in search of native game.
