A fatal aeroplane accident occurred at Port Hcdland, resulting in the death of ' a well-known pastoralist, Mr. Keith Mac.kay. The machine nose-dived into the water. Mr. Mackay was drowned, the pilot seriously hurt, and the mechanic badly shaken.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
