"DOMINIONS" OR "COLONIES?"

I STATE SECRETARY'S TITLE. PREFERENTIAL QUESTION. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, July 10. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr. Ci. X. Barnes, who suggested the alteration of the title "Secretary of State for the Colonies," so as to include "Dominions," Mr. J. R. Clynes (Lord Privy Seal) said the question had been considered periodically during the last few years, but it was always felt that there was no pressing need or desire for a change.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
