Tt was decided to build a new pavilion, and. as the club is [ fortunate, to have amoni; its memhPrs I several carpenters, the work is to go ahead j at once. It is hoped the pavilion will be finished for the opening of the 1924-25 ' season. The club competitions during the season resulted:—Championship. .T. Frost: runner up. W. Brownett. Handicap sinsles. Oeo. Clements ; runner up, Mr. J. Baker. First- . year players, Mr. W. Davidson ; runner-up, Mr. Cronin. The following officers wore elected :— Patron, Mr. F. Blnck ; president, Mr. P. T. Birch ; vice-presidents, Messrs. Cnlpan, Double, Roy Smith, and Br.idshaw: secretary and treasurer, Mr. Geo. Clements; croon superintendent. Mr. McMahon; assistant green superintendent. Mr. .Tames ; peneral committee, Messrs. Goldsmith, Brownett, R. D. Avery, Horspool : match committee. Messrs. Bleakley, C. D"c, Roy Smith ; sole selector. Mr. C. Dee : first year's coach, Mr. C. Culpan; press reporter, Mr. R. Bleakley; auditor, Mr. P. C. Bueknell; delegate to centre, Mr. P. T. Birch.
! MOUNT ALBERT CLUB.
There was a Inrtre attendance at ths annual meeting. The report and balance ! sheet, adopted, showed the club to be in a ! years past. A pood number of new mom- ' tiers proposed for next Reason. In ] his report, the secretary referred to the loss the clnb had recently had in the death of two of its original members. Messrs. J. Harrison and W. Mansell. The resignation of another pioneer of the club "was received with much rpcret, Mr. T. A. Ashton ha vine left the .district. On the motion of the president it w;is decided unanimonsly to make Mr. Ashton a life member of the club. I i The following were winners of trophies I in various club competitions:—Champion- ; ship.
