RAILWAYMEN'S PAY.
BRANCH RESOLUTION". (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. A large meeting of the Hillside branch of the A.S.R.S. unanimously decided to support the executive in any action taken to restcre wages to their former purchasing power. WELLINGTON", this day. At a meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Railway Officers' Institute it was unanimously decided: "That, in view of the continued rise in the cost of living, the executive be urged to immediately press for restoration of the amounts" lost by railway officers under the Public Service Adjustment Acts 1921-H22."
