Qlem'.er. of the Fascistl contingent in Paris. who mustered at the I'aris Fourteenth Correctional Court, pulled wry faces upon tearing sentences passed upon three of their colleagues to paj 25,000f. damages to a French widow. •Last August the prisoners hired a boat on the Marnc, an* for a Joko ran into another boat, 6ank it, and the occupant was drowned. Instead of rendering assistance, they rowed away, and tried to keep the matter quiet; but boys on tho bants reported it to the police. Two of the men were sentenced to a month's imprisonment, while all three were ordered to pay jointly _~ooof. to their victim's widow.
