IRISH REPUBLICANS
DISPUTE OVER £500,000.
FREE STATE'S CLAIMS. LONDON, January 2. Mr. John Finerty (American counsel for the Irisii Republicans) has arrived in Dublin to direct the light for £500,000 of party funds subscribed in America, to which both Free State and de Valera arc laying claim. The L'nited States Consul in Dublin has been commissioned to examine de Valera, Austin Slack, and R. C. Barton. The last-named has been released, but the other two are still interned.— (A. and N.Z.
