Sepoy Rang Amok. Captain Standen, of the 9th Jat Regiment, was shot dead at Jandola, Waziristan, by a Sepoy, who was running amok. (A. and N.Z.)" A Workers* Decoration. The Italian Cabinet is creating a new decoration, namely, a Star of Merit for work. It is to be awarded exclusively to manual workers of both sexes for distinguished skill, trustworthiness, and good conduct, and will be eligible to those who have been engaged in industry for 25 years and in agriculture for 35 years.— (A. and N.Z.) Captured by Bandits.
