RUNAWAY JAPS.
r ESCAPEES FROM A LUGGER. ' CAPTURED AFTER SEARCH. (Received 10 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Mr. Mackay says that the three prohibited Japanese who escaped from a lugger were recaptured after a prolonged search. The arrested men welcomed capture, as they were starving through people declining to harbour them in view of tho alien restriction penalties.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
