COAL MINES DEADLOCK.
AN ABORTIVE CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WESTPOBJT, this day. Another coalmining conference held at Westport ended like the preceding ones —abortively. There is general disappointment over the failure to reach a settlement. Notwihstanding the industrial crisis most of the business people in Westport report having done good Xmas business.
