ADJUDICATED A BANKRUPT.

DEBTOR IN GAOL. A petition to have Ernest Edward Bacon adjudicated a bankrupt came before the Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout, at the Supreme Court this morning. The petitioning creditor was J. P. Tunnell (Mr. tie la Mare). Council explained that debtor was served yesterday in gaol, where he had been sent for burglary. His Honor: No wonder he is bankrupt. An order of adjudication was made.
