STATE MINING VENTURE.
TAKEN UNDER A MORTGAGE. (Received 11 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. The State Government, exercising its nght Tinder mortgage, is taking over Mount Mulligan mine from the Chillagoe Company. It is expected that it will considerably increase the output and supply the Chillagoe works and smelters. Jne mine the scene of a terrible faster in September, 191.1.—(A. and N-Z. Cable.)
