J The painting of the Veterans' Home 1 was reported to be almost completed, i this worjv- together with the previous renovations at the Home involving an expenditure of £1511. Pleasure wa s expressed that the Xew Zealand Returned s Soldiers Association had promised a i donation of £100 from the Poppy Day 5 fund. - ' '
