Lancashire 203 and 125, beat Kent 72 and 131. Parkin, in the first innings, took seven wickets for 24. Hampshire 143 and 252 for eight wickets (declared), defeated the West Indies 112 and 139. Surrey 283 for eight wickets (declared) and 40' for one wicket, beat Glamorgan 148 and 174. Gloucester SI and 90 for five wickets, beat Leicester SS and 82.
