TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP.

(By Tele*rap!i.—tress Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday.. At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Football Association tonight, a letter was received from the South Auckland Association with reference to the Brown Shield match between Auckland and South Auckland to be played on Monday next, stating that the Hamilton Rugby League and Kugby Union had both cancelled their arrangements for that day, making it possible to ensure the game being a great success. It was decided to write both bodies thanking them for their sportsmanlike spirit.
