THE FREEZERS' STRIKE.
— ■ ■-_■_■■ i_.i . i , MEN GETTING IMPATIENT. DISSATISFIED WITH LEADERS. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) CaiRISTOHURCII, this lay. On Saturday night an informal meeting of freezing workers was held in the | open-air outside Trades Hall, at which it is understood a large number were present. Information was supplied to tho effect that the tone of the meeting was distinctly hostile to continuance of the strike. No union officials were present, the men acting independently of the union. To-da.y two meetings of workers will lie held to discuss the position, and it is expected the men will decide to accept the employers' invitation to resume work to-morrow morning.
