OBITUARY.
MR. ('. H. GOl'Lll.
Tiie manager of the Napier branch of the National Bank, Mr. Charles Herbert Gould, died recently in Auckland, having come here in the hope that the change would restore hi* health. Doceased was born at Otahuhu in 181)3, was educated at Paiiiell Grammar School, and joined, the staff of the National Bank in 1880. Mr. Gould waa placed in charge of the : branch opened at Onehunga,. and from there was transferred as manager at Dargaville. Sixteen years later he was itransferred to Napier. Deceased waa a son of Canon Could, now resident at Gisborne, but formerly of Auckland. Deceased is .survived by -Mrs. Gould and two sons, Dr. Gould of Pukjjora, Hospital, Waipukuyau,. .and Mr. Kenneth i Gould ul Te/Pohue.
